Everything you download from OEM Industries is one of two things: a printable file you bought from the catalogue, or a raw scan we published for free in the database. The scans carry a licence you have probably met before; the files carry a short one of our own. Both fit on this page.

Purchased files

Personal use licence · no commercial use

Every printable file bought from the catalogue, in every format it is offered in, and every later revision of it.

You may

Print it as many times as you like, for your own vehicles.
Keep every revision we publish of it, at no extra cost.
Change it however you like, for your own use.

You may not

Sell, share, publish or redistribute the file, or anything you derive from it.
Use it commercially in any form: selling prints, printing it for a customer, or offering the part as a service.

A purchase is a licence for you, not ownership of the design. OEM Industries keeps the copyright, and the licence does not travel with the file.

Published scans

CC BY 4.0 · credit required

Every raw 3D scan published in the database, free to download and released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.

You may

Share it: copy it, re-host it, pass it on, in any medium or format.
Adapt it (remodel, repair, improve or build on it) and use the result for any purpose, commercial use included.

You may not

Add legal terms or technical measures that stop others from doing anything the licence allows.

You must

Credit OEM Industries with a link to the scan's page here, link to the licence, and say whether you changed it. Any reasonable way is fine, as long as it doesn't suggest we endorse you or your work.
